DNA pendants were first made to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the discovery of the structure of DNA (by Francis Crick and James Watson in 1953) There are two sizes – the one shown here is 18mm wide and is usually ~6.5cm long. The bale is a piece of sterling silver tube across the top with a matching wire attached at the base.
